Dickson Insurance combines human expertise with smart technology. Most people don’t want to think about insurance — they want to trust that they made the right call and can move forward. That’s the work we do.
We’re a family-run brokerage of independent, licensed advisors contracted with Canada’s major carriers and largest MGA, which means our recommendations are shaped by your circumstances, not a single company’s product shelf. Technology helps us work efficiently in the background, but the planning, the advice, and the claims support always come from us. Honesty, hard work, and long-term relationships are how we’ve built the practice, and how we intend to keep it.
Tim Dickson
Tim works with business owners, sole proprietors, and incorporated professionals, integrating insurance planning into their broader financial picture. He has 15 years of experience with life, critical illness, and disability insurance, and is consistently recognized as an elite-level broker by the largest MGA in Canada (Hub Financial Inc.). He earns invitations to qualification-based conferences and specialized industry events, keeping his expertise current.
Tim is licensed in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC. He also mentors upcoming brokers in a supervisory role, helping those entering the industry adopt best practices.
Danika Dickson
Danika works with individuals navigating underwriting when their health history is complex, drawing on her background and career as an Exercise Physiologist. She believes strongly in creating a comfortable, judgment-free environment where clients can ask questions and talk through their concerns.
Danika holds a Master of Science, a Bachelor of Kinesiology, and the LLQP designation. She is licensed in good standing in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario, and has been active in the insurance industry since 2019.
